"We consulted first with Natural Wonders about an enormous sycamore tree we have in the center courtyard of our home. We had to comply with our homeowners insurance by cutting all of its branches away from our roofline. This was a huge bummer for us to accept because the tree is gorgeous and provides us with a lot of shade. It’s between 75-100 years old and its largest branches all reached over our roof towards the west. Our biggest concern was that if they trimmed the tree as far back as needed, would it survive? We needed a very experienced team to do the work so enormous branches being cut wouldn’t land on our house. After meeting with 3 certified arborists, we chose to go with Juan and Natural Wonders. They were the most costly estimate but mainly because they were the only company that would provide a crane and ensure less damage from people wearing spikes to climb it. We might be a bit crazy to have gone through so much for the tree but it’s almost twice as much to completely remove a tree this size and if we intend to keep it, we should do what’s safest for the tree and the house. The team that came out was hard working, friendly and extremely careful to get this completed. They cleaned up the yard as they found it and probably better. The tree might not look as beautiful as it once was but she is still here and we aren’t in danger any longer. We are relieved that it’s done and will definitely call Natural Wonders for our future tree needs."
