These terms govern all tree care services provided by Natural Wonders Trees, Inc. — including proposals, on-site work, payment, and cancellation. Please read them carefully before accepting any proposal.
These Terms & Conditions are incorporated by reference into all proposals, job contracts, and invoices issued by Natural Wonders Trees, Inc. By approving any proposal or invoice, you agree to be bound by these terms.
⚠ REQUIRED CALIFORNIA CONSUMER NOTICE — RIGHT TO CANCEL
You have the right to cancel any contract for home improvement services, without penalty or obligation, within three (3) business days from the date of signing or acceptance. To cancel, notify Natural Wonders Trees, Inc. in writing by email or certified mail to contact@nwtreesinc.com or 983 E Easy St, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Any payment made will be returned within ten (10) days of receipt of your cancellation notice. This right is provided under California Business & Professions Code §7159.
All tree care work performed by Natural Wonders Trees, Inc. is conducted according to ANSI A300 Tree Care Standards unless otherwise noted in a specific work proposal.
Important Notice: Work proposals do not include assessments of risk — current or future — including tree risk assessments or site risk assessments. This proposal and any tree inspections or site assessments performed for the purpose of developing the proposal shall not be considered a tree risk assessment or site risk assessment.
All work proposals issued by Natural Wonders Trees, Inc. are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
After 30 days, all work proposals, specifications, management recommendations, and any notes or inferences — whether written or verbal — regarding the trees and sites are null, void, and no longer applicable. A new proposal must be issued if work is still desired after the expiration date.
Trees and tree parts — whether directly inspected or located on-site or nearby — may fail at any time, including:
Such failures may cause property damage, injury, or death. Natural Wonders Trees, Inc. shall not be held liable for such occurrences except where directly caused by its own negligence or willful misconduct.
Underground Utilities & Sprinkler Systems: Owner is responsible for identifying and disclosing the locations of all underground utilities, irrigation systems, sprinkler heads, and other subsurface improvements to Contractor in writing prior to commencement of work. Contractor will take reasonable precautions in disclosed areas but is not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation lines, or sprinkler heads whose locations were not disclosed prior to the start of work.
Tip: Call 811 (Dig Safe) before any excavation — it's free and required by California law.
Free Cancellation Window
Owner may cancel this agreement without penalty within three (3) business days from the date of acceptance, as required by California Business & Professions Code §7159.
Late Cancellation Fee
A cancellation fee of 10% of the total job cost may apply if the job is cancelled after the three (3) business day window, not to exceed Contractor's actual documented costs incurred in preparation for the work.
Trip Charge — Owner-Caused Delay
If the Contractor has mobilized to the job site and is unable to perform work due to Owner-caused delays (e.g., locked access gates, obstructions blocking the work area, Owner unavailability), a trip charge of $100.00 per crew member per hour for time spent on-site will be imposed.
Payment for services is due upon completion and receipt of invoice.

Returned Checks: All returned checks are subject to an $80.00 fee.
Late Payment Finance Charge: A finance charge of 2% per month (24% per annum) will be assessed as a contractual late fee on any outstanding balance pursuant to California Civil Code §1671:
By approving any proposal, job, or invoice through Jobber's client portal, by email, or by any other written means, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions on this page.
Digital approval through Jobber's client portal constitutes a legally binding electronic signature under the California Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (Civil Code §1633.1 et seq.) and the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act). The prices, specifications, and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. Contractor is authorized to perform the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.
